The department also organized an industry visit for M.Sc. Sem III students to shrikrishna Rolling Mills, where they learn that how raw steel is converted into steel rods and moulds after passing through cutting, healing, coolig etc. The scraps were also melted in blast furnace and made reusable. Students also learnt about the quality testing manually and through spectrometrically.
