Objective: To induct the new students of Semester I (UG and PG) into the Department of Chemistry.

A Departmental orientation session was held on 7 September 2022 from 12.00 to 1.00 pm in A.V. Hall where the students of Semester V (UG) and Semester III (PG) formally welcomed the new students to the department. The session began with a formal introduction of the faculty members. Dr. Manisha Patni, HoD, gave a PowerPoint presentation to brief them about the faculty profile, departmental website, time-table, location of the department/classes/labs, departmental activities/calendar, structure of course curricula and subject-wise credits, programme outcomes (POs) & learning outcomes (LOs), scheme of examination (CA & SEE), assessment & evaluation pattern, library system and online access. To break the ice, the senior students creatively hosted some fun-interactive games which was enjoyed by all. The session ended with a group photograph.

Outcome: The attendees enjoyed interacting with their seniors and faculty members of the department and were warmly welcomed to the Department of Chemistry.
