On completion of this course, the students will be able to-

CO89: prepare Laissagne solution and detect the presence of extra element in organic compound

CO90: identify the functional groups in simple organic compounds by performing step-wise qualitative tests.

CO91: separate and identify the given organic binary mixtures using water, saturated solution of sod. Bicarbonate and dilute sodium hydroxide.
