CO137: Separate and identify the given organic binary mixtures using water, saturated solution of sodium bicarbonate and dilute sodium hydroxide.

CO138: Compile and report the results efficiently, and develop communications skills.

The duration of examination will be 5 hrs.

This exercise carries 55 marks for the identification of two organic compounds; 5 marks are reserved for the proper selection of separation technique, rest of the 50 marks are kept for the identification of two organic compounds (25 marks each)
