Qualitative Analysis

Identification of an organic compound  (solid and liquid) through the element detection,  functional groupanalysis, determination of melting point/ boiling point and preparation of suitable derivatives.

 

Quantitative Analysis

  1. To determine the neutralization equivalent of the acid.
  2. Estimation of glucose by Fehling’s solution/Benedict’s solution method
  3. Estimation of saponification value of oil.
