   Objective: To screen and approve the research proposals in the area of Organic   Chemistry.

IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur hosted the 5^th Meeting of Programme Advisory Committee (PAC) on 29^th and 30^th September, 2022. It was organised for the approval of research proposals in the area of Organic Chemistry. The committee had previously screened 167 proposals for peer-review in the screening meeting held for CRG proposals at IIT Madras on 13^th and 14^th July, 2022. This current meeting was organised for the final evaluation of these projects.

A formal welcome address was delivered by Dr. Ashok Gupta, Hon’ble Chancellor, IIS (Deemed to be University). The meeting was chaired by Prof. S. Sankararaman, Chairman PAC, IIT Madras, Chennai.

The 2-day meeting was culminated on 30^th September with PCR evaluation and conclusion remarks by chair. A vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Raakhi Gupta, Rector & Registrar, IIS (Deemed to be University).
